Aus der Reihe „Ach, damit kann man auch Drogen schmuggeln“ heute eine eigentlich ziemlich geniale Idee: Drogenschmuggel per Drone/Quadrikopter, natürlich unbemannt! Wo keiner drinsitz, kann sich ja auch keiner strafbar machen, oder?
Doof nur, wenn der Drone der Saft ausgeht und das Ding eine ungewollte Zwischennotlandung auf ’nem Supermarktparkplatz einlegen muss. So passiert am Dienstag an der kalifornisch-mexikanischen Grenze in Tijuana: Drug-laden drone crashes near US-Mexico border:
Six packets of the drug, weighing more than six pounds, were taped to the six-propeller remote-controlled aircraft. Morrua said authorities are investigating where the flight originated and who was controlling it. He said it was not the first time they had seen drones used for smuggling drugs across the border.
