Produced By K.West: Kanye Tribute Beattape (Instrumentals Only)

Man kann über Kanyes Rants, Philosophien und Verhalten insgesamt ja durchaus geteilter Meinung sein. Aber in Sachen Beatkunst ist der Kerl eine absolute Macht. Was in der Hinsicht auf dem bald erscheinenden neuen Album S W I S H auf uns zukommt? Sollte der von Madlib gelieferte Beat zu „No More Parties in L.A.“ schon einen Vorgeschmack auf Yes aktuellen Beat-Geschmack sein, kommt da ein herrliches Album auf uns zu:

„ARIUS.“ serviert uns mit „Produced By K.West“ eine einstündige Zusammenstellung ein paar seiner größten Beat-Produktionen für sich selbst und für Andere. Für den Mix wird meine SD-Karte zur Dauerkarte!

With Ye’s new album “S W I S H” on the horizon in a few weeks, I wanted to create something super special to highlight his music and other things of that nature but I didn’t want to just make a mix of songs and guest verses so I decided to just collect all of the instrumentals that I’ve had lying around into one kind of cohesive project. “Produced by K.West for Very Good Beats/Hip-Hop Since 1978” is a one of a kind piece of art that delves into the many differently levels of production from Mr. West. It is also the song/producing publishing licensing that he creates his music under so I figured that the title was appropriate.

Again this project is one long beat tape to highlight a bunch of production work that he has done for himself and for others in the last decade and a chance to share some of my favorites with you all.
