Kurz vor der Veröffentlichung des neuen N.E.R.D.-Albums am kommenden Freitag sorgen zwei der Band-Mitglieder gerade für hohen Datentraffic. Pharrell Williams und Chad Hugo, die als Produzenten unter dem Pseudonym The Neptunes ihre Karriere starteten, verschenken ihre komplette Discographie!

Insgesamt rund 13GB(!) an Daten stellten sie auf verschiedenen File-Hoster zum freien Download zur Verfügung.
After a few months of countless talks and deliberation, Cory and I decided to go ahead and re-upload The Neptunes: The Other Side of the Planet collection for those that didn’t get the chance to get it when we dropped it during the Summer, so we decided to let the public have at it again.

Nach erster Sichtung handelt es sich bei den Files durchweg um mp3-Dateien mit 128 kBit/s, die alle sauber getaggt sind. Letzteres ist keine Selbstverständlichkeit.
„The Neptunes: The Other Side Of The Planet (Neptunes Production Discography)“ wurde übrigens bereits im Jahr 2012 schon einmal online gestellt und zwei Jahre später dann wieder offline genommen. In der Neuauflage wurde der Katalog um vier Bonus-CDs mit jeweils 120 Songs erweitert. Außerdem sind drei Compilation mit Pharrells Solo-Projekten dazu gekommen.
