Family of the Year is an American indie rock and pop band based in Los Angeles, California. They became famous in 2012 with their song „Hero„, wich was featured in Richard Linklater’s 2014 film Boyhood. Hero’ climbed up the top 10 in Austria, Belgium, Germany, and Switzerland.
Last Friday they released their fourth Album „Goodbye Sunshine, Hello Nighttime“ and I had the chance to meet the members of the band in Berlin for a chat. It was a pleasure.
